We take the quality of our Muse Hair Extensions very seriously and ensure that they are ethically sourced. Due to the nature of our product, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. We encourage all customers to carefully consider their purchase before placing an order.

We understand that choosing the right hair extension colour can be difficult, which is why we offer exchanges if you have chosen the wrong colour match. To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused, with the ties that hold the extensions together intact in its original packaging, and returned within 7 days of receiving your order. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with the exchange.

To initiate an exchange, please contact us at support@museforhair.com and provide us with your order number, the item you wish to exchange, and the reason for the exchange. We will then provide you with further instructions on how to proceed.

Please note that we do not accept exchanges for any other reason than a colour match.

When would my order NOT be suitable for return/exchange?

• If you have released the ties that hold the extensions in place, you are unable to return the product for a refund or exchange.
• It is very easy to check the colour without removing these ties, so please do so to ensure you can return if you wish.
• If you wash, colour or tamper with the hair in any way it cannot be returned/exchanged.
• No returns will be accepted if the hair has been treated or maintained with products other than the Muse recommended Hair Care Range.

Like all hair extension companies, we do not allow opened products to be returned as a matter of hygiene. We cannot refund or exchange ANY item that has been removed from its ties or tampered with in any way.

At Muse For Hair, we ship international packagesDDU (duties and taxes unpaid). This means that international customers may be responsible for paying inbound duties and taxes to local Customs authorities. Sometimes, the courier may pay these fees in advance, on your behalf, in order to clear customs faster. You may then be required to pay these fees prior to being able to receive the delivery. The rate of these fees is applied by your country, and we are unable to advise on how much they might be. This is normal for international purchases. Muse For Hair does not collect from these incurred expenses. The customs fee is not part of the shipping fee. Shipping is charged by the courier, and customs is charged by the local government.

Delicate Tape Removal: Pay close attention when it's time for removal. Gently and patiently peel off the tape. Avoid ripping it too fast, which can cause damage to the extensions. Damage to bonded section through ripping tape off vigorously will not be replaced.

Styling Tools: Heat styling tools like flat irons and curling irons can cause damage if used excessively. To extend the life of your extensions, use these tools sparingly, always apply a heat protectant spray, and minimise heat exposure.

Chemical Treatments: We strongly advise against chemical processes, such as colouring or perming as they will weaken the hair and reduce its longevity. Opt for extensions that closely match your desired colour to minimise the need for additional coloring.

Maintenance: Regular upkeep is essential. Don't leave the hair in for longer than 2-4 weeks at a time. Regular trims can also help maintain the overall health and appearance of your extensions.

Storage: Properly storing your extensions when not in use is key to preventing tangling and friction. Consider using a silk or satin bag for this purpose.

Careful Handling: Treat your extensions gently. Use a soft-bristle brush or wide-tooth comb for detangling, start from the tips, and work your way up to avoid damage.
